Pavel Filip: We must work with everyone to achieve set objectives

“Dear businessmen, we will continue to look for ways to improve the working conditions for entrepreneurs. But if we continue not to pay taxes, we will not manage to achieve the set objective. Without you, we will not reach the expected level,” Prime Minister Pavel Filip said, addressing this message to business entities.

At the start of the May 17 meeting of the Government, Pavel Filip said the stimulation of investment in the national economy and the supporting of entrepreneurial activities were the objectives assumed by the Government from the very beginning. In this regard, a moratorium on inspections at business entities was instituted for a period. The number of inspection bodies and of permissive documents needed to start and develop businesses was reduced.

“The institution of the moratorium led to a 30% rise in the amounts collected into the budget. This means that the Government will be able to make more investments in infrastructure, especially roads, and will be able to launch other projects that will improve the life of people,” said Pavel Filip.

According to the Premier, if we want to have a prosperous life and European standards in Moldova, all the citizens, including the businessmen, should work in this regard. Regrettably, there are many enterprises that do not pay taxes.
