Pavel Filip takes part in meeting of CIS Prime Ministers

Prime Minister Pavel Filip is taking part in the meeting of heads of government of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) that is held in Kyrgyzstan’s Bishkek on June 6-7. The event’s agenda includes a wide range of subjects referring to the bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the CIS member states in a number of areas, IPN reports.

According to the Government’s press service, the CIS Prime Ministers will discuss the strengthening of cooperation in the political, commercial-economic, agricultural, health, education, transport, research and innovation sectors.

The event will be attended by the Premiers of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan, the Deputy Prime Ministers of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, the Ambassador of Ukraine and the Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee Sergey Lebedev.

In Bishkek, Pavel Filip will have bilateral meetings with his counterparts from the CIS member states. He will also meet with the President of Kirgizstan and will take part in the meetings of the Council of Heads of Government in limited and extended formats, which will be followed by the signing of sector cooperation documents.
