Pavel Filip reiterates irreversibility of Moldova’s European course

Prime Minister Pavel Filip, in the opening of the November 16 meeting of the Cabinet, thanked all the institutions and persons involved in the organization and conduct of the presidential runoff.

“The institutions did their job, but a series of legislative shortcomings were identified meanwhile. These are to be removed before new elections,” stated the Premier, noting that the Government will contribute to drafting amendment proposals. Pavel Filip also reiterated the irreversibility of Moldova’s course to European integration.

“We are a parliamentary republic and the decisions are adopted by Parliament, while the implementation and control are ensured by the Government. In today’s meeting, the governmental commission for European integration will approve a plan of action for November and December. This contains 82 measures concerning the European integration. We follow the road we chose,” said Pavel Filip, quoted by IPN.
