Prime Minister Pavel Filip is paying a working visit to New York during September 26-29. He will take part in the 73rd session of the General Assembly of the United Nations there, IPN reports, quoting the Government’s press service.

Pavel Filip will deliver a speech from the rostrum of the UN General Assembly by which he will reiterate the necessity of peacefully settling the Transnistrian conflict by respecting the sovereignty of the Republic of Moldova and will inform the international community about the position of Moldova that remains actively involved in the UN processes concerning the respect for the international law and human rights, ensuring of global peace and development.

On the sidelines of the session, the Premier will have a series of bilateral meeting with Heads of State and Government. He will also meet with Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn and United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres.
