Prime Minister Pavel Filip transmitted a congratulatory message to his Romanian counterpart Sorin Grindeanu on the occasion of his appointment. He noted the upward trend in the Moldovan-Romanian relations and the intensification of cooperation between the two states with the institution of the Strategic Partnership for Moldova’s European Integration, IPN reports, quoting the Government’s press service.
“I use this occasion to express my gratitude for Romania’s readiness to support the Moldovan authorities in their efforts to meet the European standards and values by implementing the association agenda with the EU, to modernize our country and to implement energy, education and social projects,” reads the message.
Pavel Filip expressed his conviction that in the future the Republic of Moldova will continue to enjoy Romania’s support in achieving the priorities of the bilateral agenda and the major objectives related to Moldova’s modernization and European integration, while the dialogue between the two states will continue to be active.
