Patricia Kaas invites Chisinau public to Kabaret

Patricia Kaas, one of the most successful French-speaking singers in the world, invites the public in Chisinau to “Kabaret” – a concert in homage to the women of the 1930s. The concert will be held this evening at the National Palace and will include new songs and songs from the mentioned period, Info-Prim Neo reports. ”It is more a show with many projections, dances and music rather than a concert,” the singer said at a news conference held on the eve. A team that accompanies the singer is in charge of the technical part of the show. Patricia Kaas’s new album ”Kabaret” is promoted during a world tour that started in November last year. “ Eurovision wasn’t a launch pad for the album as they say. “Kabaret” appeared long before this contest,” Patricia Kaas said. Speaking about her performance at Eurovision, she said she is disappointed by the results. ”I am human too. This result does not affect my career. During 20 years I took my songs to different countries of the world. It was important for me to represent my country at Eurovision,” Patricia Kaas said. ”I did not have the opportunity to talk to Nelly Ciobanu. It’s hard for me to say something about her song because all the songs have their place in this contest. It is important that she feels proud that she represented her country there,” Patricia Kaas said, when asked what she though about Moldova’s performance at Eurovision. Patricia Kaas said that after the tour that includes 100 more concerts she will take a vacation.
