Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and all Russia Kirill postponed his pastoral visit to the Republic of Moldova scheduled for October 27-28 this year, IPN reports.
President Igor Dodon made this announcement in the social media. He said he was informed about the postponement in a telephone discussion with the head of the Department for External Relations of the Russian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Bishop Hilarion of Volokolamsk.
According to Igor Dodon, he will discuss the scheduling of a new visit with Patriarch Kirill next week, during his official visit to Moscow.
