Patentees in Transnistria banned from selling sanitary equipment

The private companies working on the left bank of the Nistru can no longer sell certain types of sanitary equipment using patents. A decision to this effect was taken by the self-styled Transnistrian ministry of finance. Only the legal entities will be able to sell such equipment, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the Agency “Novyi Reghion”. The patentees are banned from selling washstands, sinks, shower cubicles, Jacuzzi, bathroom furniture, boilers, heating radiators, and batteries. But they are allowed to sell pipes, hoses, faucets and other devices. A series of amendments to the internal documents concerning the entrepreneur’s patent took effect on January 1, 2013.
