Passengers of Chisinau International Airport receive Moldovan apples

In connection with the national holidays, SRL “Avia Invest”, which manages the Chisinau International Airport, offered Moldovan apples to all the passengers of the flights operated through the airport. The event was held on the Independence Day, on August 27, and will be repeated on August 31, when it is celebrated the Romanian Language Day, IPN reports.

By such an action, the company’s administration aims to increase the attention paid to passengers from the terminal and to support the national producers.

The Chisinau International Airport was named the fastest developing airport among CIS countries by the results of 2013, in the category of airports with passenger traffic of up to 1.5 million a year.

Last year, the airport served 1.3 million people, an increase of 8.26% on 2012. Sixteen airlines operate flights on the airport in Chisinau to over 29 destinations all over the world.
