Passengers of Chisinau Airport familiarized with Turkish traditions

LLC “Avia Invest”, the company that manages the Chisinau International Airport, organizes five days dedicated to Turkey within the waiting area on the second floor of the terminal where a special corner is arranged with decorations specific to this country. All the passengers will be able to admire the scenery which reflects Turkish traditions, the oriental Turkish dances as well as to take photos with a sultan, IPN reports, quoting a press release of the company.

In order to create an atmosphere specific to this country, within the five-day event all the passengers will be able to taste Turkish sweets, tea and coffee in the specially decorated area. For all the passengers who will want to capture the most beautiful moments, there will be a photographer who will take a photo and will print it, absolutely for free.

Among the guests who attended the event were employees of the Turkish Embassy and Ambassador of Turkey to Republic of Moldova Mehmet Selim Kartal, who welcomed the initiative of “Avia Invest” to organize this event that will help passengers to get familiar with the traditions of Turkey.

Moreover, a raffle will be held during the days of Turkish culture. Thus, from 3 to 7 September, the passengers of all the flights operated between 12 noon and 4pm and those of Turkish Airlines will be able to register for participation in the raffle. On Sunday, September 7, at 8:30pm, there will be selected the winner of a free ticket to any destination in Turkey, kindly offered by Turkish Airlines. The registration of the passengers for the raffle will be held within the waiting area, on the second floor, in the departure hall, after passing the border control.

LLC “Avia Invest” started to manage the Chisinau International Airport on November 1, 2013. The Chisinau International Airport was named “The fastest developing airport among CIS countries” in 2013, in the category of airports with passenger traffic of up to 1.5 million people a year. In 2013, the Chisinau Airport served 1 321 362 passengers, an increase of 8.26% on 2012. Currently, 16 airlines are operating flights to 29 destinations around the world through the Chisinau Airport.
