A minibus on route no.192 in Chisinau carrying 14 passengers crashed into a tree. Several passengers suffered minor injuries and one was taken to the hospital with a head trauma and a concussion, Info-Prim Neo reports. The accident took place at the intersection of the streets Tighina and Alexei Mateevici. The driver claims he tried to avoid a car which turned suddenly and this lead to a run-off-road collision with a tree. The other driver claims he signalized in time that he was turning. The police will establish who of them is responsible. Ciprian Gherasim, head of the Emergency Medicine Department, says that only one passenger was brought to the hospital. The person received the necessary medical care but refused to be hospitalized. Recently, several accidents involving passenger minibuses have occurred, some of them deadly. In May, 16 people were hospitalized and the driver died after a minibus on route no.110 rolled over.
