The international passenger and freight transport will be resumed through two Moldovan-Ukrainian border crossing points: Ocnița-Sokireany and Larga-Kelmentsy, Prime Minister Ion Chicu informed after the meeting of the Commission for Exceptional Situations, IPN reports.

“These two frontier posts are opened in order to fluidize traffic,” stated the official, noting the decision will start to be applied at 8am on April 10.

Premier Chicu also said that there was authorized a charter flight to transport one passenger from London to Chisinau. As there were no applicants, the Warsaw – Chisinau flight was cancelled. The Moscow – Chisinau flight was authorized instead of this.
