After 90% or 1,935 of the election reports were counted, PAS is shown to have polled 46.99% of the vote, BeCS – 31.41%, while the Shor Party – 6.65%, IPN reports.
In the municipality of Chisinau, with 278 of the 304 election reports being processed, PAS is shown to have won over 56% of the poll, BeCS – about 30%, while the Shor Party over 3%.
With 31 of the 150 election reports from abroad being processed, PAS gains 62% of the ballot, BeCS – about 19%, while the Bloc “Renato Usatîi” – approximately 8%.
The voter turnout is 44.56% or 1,265 million electors. Over 209,000 Moldovans voted abroad.
The election threshold for a party is 5%, for an electoral bloc is 7%, while for an independent candidate is 2%.
