PAS requests Government to relax restrictions for citizens who enter Moldova

The parliamentary group of the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) demands that the Government should compile a green list of countries that manage the COVID-19 pandemic well and the Moldovans who return home from these countries should not obliged to self-isolate for 14 days, IPN quoted PAS MP Galina Sajin as saying in a news conference.

Galina Sajin noted there are sufficient examples and solutions for the applied restrictions to be made more flexible so that they do not create useless impediments to the Moldovans.

“Our citizens ask why the 14-day self-isolation measure when entering the country is maintained if they come from cities where there is practically no case of COVID-19? It is very convenient for an incompetent government, like the Dodon Government, to hide behind the pretext of protecting the people, which is invoked when I make requests on the issue. Protection can be ensured by testing, by providing protective equipment to those who cannot buy it themselves, by ensuring the observance of the hygiene norms,” stated MP Galina Sajin.
