The parliamentary group of the Party of Acton and Solidary (PAS) challenged in the Constitutional Court (CC) some of the provisions of the state budget law for 2021, as regards the distribution of funds – capital investments for the local authorities, PAS MP Petru Frunze has said, being quoted by IPN.
Petru Frunze told a news conference that the disputed provisions were illegally adopted by the parliamentary majority, at midnight, and were perceived by society as disregard for the public funds and the taxes that are paid by the citizens. “We challenged only the amendments proposed by the MPs, in the amount of 3 million lei, which was distributed by the MPs according to the principle “who is more loyal to Dodon and Shor,” stated the MP.
The PAS expects that the CC will pronounce on the constitutionality of these provisions as it is not right for the MPs, by secret agreements, to affect the local autonomy and to distribute the money as they like, stated Petru Frunze.
