The Cabinet reshuffles are the last solution to which the authorities will resort if things at some of the ministries do not improve, said PAS MP Adrian Băluțel. According to him, the team of the Party of Action and Solidarity will offer assistance to the current ministers. If the changes are late, there will be dismissals. For their part, ex-MPs said half of the current government team should be replaced as they do not deliver results, IPN reports.
AUR Romania vice president Valeriu Munteanu, ex-MP, dismissed the Government’s communication strategy as inefficient and defective. He said PAS faces an acute shortage of professionals and half of the Executive should be dismissed for lack of professionalism.
“They face a shortage of staff and are unable to select people capable of working. Furthermore, there is a wide discrepancy between their internal cuisine and the way in which they communicate. No one thought that the PAS’ communication will be a catastrophe. We have never witnessed earlier a situation when a minister is named without informing that another minister was dismissed. With such an attitude, PAS will have only incompetent people in the team. Serious people will not even want to talk about this. Half of the current ministers should be dismissed as they hold the wrong post, even if they are decent people,” Valeriu Munteanu stated in the talk show “Black Box” on TV8 channel.
Representatives of the government said they are having discussions on the efficiency of there-four ministries. However, MP Adrian Băluțel said the ministers will be dismissed only after all the ways to support the current ministers are used up.
“In a Government assumed by one party, it is normal to have staff changes. The people can be directed to other professional opportunities where they can assert themselves better. More precise actions and moves are expected from another three-four ministries. But the reshuffles are not the only method for changing things at a ministry. More support should be offered to some mates from ministries. There are ministries that are expected to ensure a higher speed. Evidently, reshuffles in these areas will be needed if use up all the support methods. We admit that communication errors were made under the pressure of the events. But these are not strategy errors,” said PAS MP Adrian Băluțel.
Recently, MP Vladimir Bolea was named Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry following the dismissal of Viorel Gherciu. Vladimir Bolea earlier headed the Parliament’s commission on agriculture and food industry.
