The simple motion against Minister of Health Viorica Dumbrăveanu will be a test for dismissing the entire Cabinet, IPN quoted MP of the Party of Action and Solidarity Mihai Popușoi as saying in the talk show “Expertise Hour” on Jurnal TV channel. 

“This simple motion against the minister of health is a test in our approaches to remove the current Government and appoint another Government. The minister failed in her work, judging by what we have in the healthcare system, with over 2,000 infected doctors and with doctors who pass away daily. We hope the simple motion against the minister of health will be voted in Parliament this week,” said the Deputy Speaker of Parliament.

The PAS MP noted that in the created situation, the Democratic Party of Moldova will have a decisive say in the vote of no confidence against the Chicu Government and in the appointment of a new Government.

MP of the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform” Igor Munteanu said the PAS’ position is understood given that the situation concerning the naming of a new Government is not clear. “There are a number of risks that we should moderate and discuss with the Democratic Party and with other political groups,” he stated.

Even if the PAS and PPPDA announced that a meeting with representatives of the PDM was to take place on June 22 to discuss the governmental changes, the Democrats said the PDM hasn’t yet adopted a decision on the dismissal of the current Government or the appointment of a new executive. The party is ready to have a dialogue with all the authentic parliamentary parties, such as the PAS, the PPPDA and the Party of Socialists, but does not see now a possibility of dialoguing with Pro Moldova and the group of the Shor Party.
