Maia Sandu’s support team has submitted signatures and other documents needed to obtain registration in the presidential race.
Speaking to reporters outside the Central Election Commission building, the president of PAS party said her team collected more than 30,000 signatures, but submitted only 25,000, the maximum provided by the law.
“All the good people in this country deserve to have decent lives here at home. (…) But for the Moldovans to be able to exercise this fundamental right, we need free and fair elections, and the CEC should ensure conditions that the upcoming elections are free and fair,” declared Maia Sandu.
PAS vice president Igor Grosu said that Igor Dodon understands he won’t win the election without stealing it. “This time, we won’t let him manipulate with the CEC,” declared Igor Grosu.
