The group of the Party of Action and Solidarity announced the formation of an absolute majority in the July 29 sitting of Parliament. The MPs of the Bloc of the Communists and the Socialists said they will form the opposition, while the group of the Shor Party stated they will work in a constructive composition in the current legislature, IPN reports.
“We announce the creation of an parliamentary majority in the Parliament of the eleventh legislature,” said PAS MP Sergiu Litvinenco.
Vasile Bolea noted the parliamentary group of the Bloc of the Communists and the Socialists will be in opposition.
Three political entities entered the new Parliament as a result of the July 11 snap parliamentary elections. The Party of Action and Solidarity gained 63 seats of MP, the Electoral Bloc of the Communists and the Socialists 32 seats, while the Shor Party – six seats.
