The Ministry of Justice on May 26made public the decision to register the Party “Action and Solidarity” (PAS) and its symbols. Ex-minister of education Maia Sandu is the head of the newly registered party, IPN reports.

The Ministry said that even if the presented documents meet the legal norms, it formulated recommendations for avoiding possible disagreements when approving and registering modifications to the statutes of the party in the future.

Representatives of the initiative group of the party submitted the documents required for registration on May 19, based on the proceedings of the constitution congress of the PAS.

So far the Ministry of Justice of Moldova registered 45 political parties.
