The parties that entered the new Parliament do not have the capacity to come to terms. Unclear and senseless struggles and games could take place between these parties, expert in political sciences Victor Stapaniuc was quoted by IPN as saying in the talk show “Key issue” on NTV Moldova channel.

Victor Stepaniuc said the actions taken by the bloc ACUM show the party does everything to concede the power. “They do not want to create and form part of a parliamentary majority,” he stated. The expert noted the Democratic Party is now in an advantageous position as it has followed patiently the developments and takes part in the discussions initiated by President Igor Dodon. “Time works in favor of the Democratic Party,” stated Victor Stepaniuc.

Jurist Serghei Mishin said he does not understand the call to discussions made by the bloc ACUM. Initially, the bloc said it is against having turncoats, but later called on some of the MPs to take part in discussions with it separately from their parliamentary groups. The bloc ACUM should invite namely the Socialist group to discussions and should not disseminate unclear messages. By refusing to take part in the discussions launched by President Dodon, the representatives of the bloc create a stalemate. “I’ve got the impression that the bloc ACUM intentionally goes towards snap elections,” stated the jurist.

Political pundit Corneliu Ciurea noted that for the bloc ACUM it is very important to keep the ideological purity and not to establish “toxic” contacts with the Democrats and the Socialists. At the same time, the party found a method for not contacting with any of the parties. They proposed a counterprogram that differs a lot from what the Democrats and the Socialists are ready to do. The bloc ACUM does not want an alliance to be formed. It just wants to discuss the bills it introduced without creating a new power and to remove the old power and then to organize snap elections.
