Six private houses situated in Centru district of Chisinau were disconnected from the hot water supply as the distribution networks risked becoming frozen, while three apartment buildings in Rascani district were disconnected in connection with repair works on a pipe.

Maria Esanu, representative of the public relations and communication service of the public utility SA “Termoelectrica”, has told IPN that the six houses were disconnected because they consumed less water and the hot water supply networks could freeze. These will be reconnected in several days, when temperatures go up.

As regards the three apartment buddings, the how water supply was stopped owing to works to repair a pipe with the diameter of 100 mm. These are located at 2 Florilor St and 10/1 and 12 Bogdan Voievod St.
