Parliament’s Standing Bureau to have more members

The legal commission for appointments and immunities approved a draft decision providing for the increase in the number of members of the Parliament’s Standing Bureau from 12 to 13 so as to ensure the proportional representation of the parliamentary groups on the Bureau. The announcement was made by the commission’s chairwoman Olesea Stamate in a press briefing, IPN reports.

Also today, the Parliament’s commission for appointments and immunities approved a draft decision on the Government’s work program and the giving of a vote of confidence to the Cabinet and also a draft decision on the approval of the list of ministries. Prime Minister-Designate Natalia Gavriliță earlier proposed increasing the number of ministries from nine to 13.
