Speaker Igor Corman signed a decision to close the spring-summer session of Parliament on July 31, IPN reports.

Igor Corman said the lawmakers who already went on vacation did it at their own expense. The July 22 sitting was attended by 54 MPs and there was no Communist lawmaker among them.

Prime Minister Iurie Leanca presented himself before the MPs to announce that the Government decided to assume political responsibility for 11 important bills that Parliament didn’t manage to pass during the current session. The 11 bills will take effect within 72 hours, if no censure motion is submitted and adopted in this period.
