Parliament’s committee selected 15 candidates for members of the Audiovisual Council
The Parliament’s Committee for culture, science, education, youth, sports and media selected on Wednesday, October 11, 15 candidates for the function of members of the Audiovisual Coordinating Council (CCA).
The members of the Committee present at the session proposed candidates from those who previously submitted their documents to the Committee. These are Corneliu Mihalache, Gheorghe Gorincioi, Valeriu Frumusachi, Ludmila Vasilache, Nicolae Damaschin, Carmelia Albu, Vlad Turcanu, Valeriu Ciobanu, Ruslan Plesca, Mihai Poiata, Constantin Partac, Nicu Scorpan, Efim Josanu, Valeriu Soltan and Constantin Rotaru.
The head of the Committee, Victor Stepaniuc, declared that according to the regulations, the members will be able to propose other candidates, but „these 15 will be examined in the first place”.
On the whole, for the function of the member of CCA, 36 files were submitted. The next session of the Committee will take place on Thursday, October 12.
According to the Audiovisual Code, in force since August 18, CCA is composed of 9 members designated by the Parliament. The Structure of the Council is to be constituted within 2 month after coming into force of the Code, meaning till October 18.
