Parliamentary training program for Moldovan MPs in Brussels

A group of MPs of Moldova’s Parliament is taking part in a parliamentary training program implemented by the NATO Parliamentary Assembly on April 27-28, IPN reports.

According to the Parliament’s press service, the MPs will take part in a series of seminars at the headquarters of the NATO, the NATO Parliamentary Assembly and the European Parliament. Among the main subjects discussed with the European officials will be the Association Agreement with the EU and the role of the Parliamentary Association Committee, the principles and mechanisms of parliamentary control over security and defense, Moldova’s relations with NATO and the regional context.

The parliamentary delegation consists of the chairman of the Parliament’s Delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Valeriu Strelet, deputy head of the legal commission on appointments and immunizes Tudor Deliu, deputy head of the commission on human rights and interethnic relations Ion Casian, and MPs Angel Agache, George Mocanu, Aliona Gota, Eugeniu Nichiforciuc, Constantin Tutu, Ion Apostol, and Mihaela Iacob.
