Parliamentary commission preselects 11 candidates for BCC
The Parliament's commission for media on Wednesday preselected 11 candidates out of 27 persons who applied for three vacant posts in the Broadcasting Coordination Council (BCC), Info-Prim Neo reports.
At its next meeting, the commission is to nominate 3 candidates out of these 11 preselected persons and will submit the nominations to Parliament for consideration.
The 11 preselected candidates are: Dinu Ciocan, Ghenadie Brega, Nicolae Damaschin, Aurelian Lavric, Boris Erusevschi, Olga Barbalata, Mariana Onceanu-Hadarca, Silvia Grossu, Nicu Scapan, Oleg Grajdianu and Marcel Otel.
To be nominated, the candidates need to gather at least 7 votes of the commission's members.
The Broadcasting Coordination Council is composed of 9 members. Three posts fell vacant after the terms of Carmelia Albu, Valeriu Soltan and Ruslan Plesca expired.
