The siting of Parliament started in half-darkness. This involves the 26 MPs of the Bloc ACUM and 35 MPs of the Party of Socialists and also a number of ambassadors, among whom is the Head of the EU Delegation to Moldova Peter Michalko and Russia’s Ambassador in Chisinau Oleg Vasnetsov, IPN reports.
According to ACUM MP Vladimir Bolea, Zinaida Grecheanyi will be elected Parliament Speaker, while Maia Sandu Prime Minister.
“Maia Sandu will serve as a Premier and will have a minority Government. I don’t think this will include members of the PSRM. Today we will start to vote laws of the de-oligarchization package. The administration of Parliament will be chosen and the legislature will start work in a normal regime. It will be a functional Parliament,” stated Vladimir Bolea.
