Parliament sets up commission to investigate April events
The MPs Tuesday constituted a commission that will investigate the causes and consequences of the events that happened after April 5, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The commission will consist of nine MPs who will represent all the parliamentary groups: four on behalf of the PCRM /Anatolie Zagorodnyi, Vadim Misin, Irina Vlah and Igor Vremea/, two of the PLDM /Vitalie Nagacevschi and Valeriu Ghiletski/ and by one from the other groups – the PL /Gheorghe Brega/, the PDM /Alexandru Stoianoglo/ and the AMN /Iurie Colesnic/.
Vitalie Nagacevschi was named chairman of the commission, while Vadim Misin - deputy chairman. Gheorghe Brega will act as secretary. According to an informative note to the draft decision, representatives of the civil society and international organizations will be able to attend the meetings of the inquiry commission.
The commission will present a report on the results of the investigation in the Parliament within 60 days. The creation of the commission was recommended by the European Parliament.
