Parliament modified the nominal structure of several standing committees

The Parliament operated on Friday, November 24, modifications in a range of standing committees from the legislative. Thus, 3 communist MPs were appointed members of the Standing Committee for Foreign Policy and European Integration, the MP Grigore Petrenco being elected as its chairman. Earlier, the function was held by Sergiu Stati, who had been appointed ambassador of the R. Moldova in Ukraine. The Leader of the “Moldova Noastra” Alliance, Serafim Urecheanu was also named member of the respective committee, and Vitalia Pavlicenco, former member of the same faction has been dismissed from the function of deputy chair of the Committee. The former MP representing AMN, Vasile Colta has been dismissed from the function of secretary of the Committee for Agriculture and Food Industry, and the MP Valentina Golban from the function of deputy chairman of the Committee for Social Protection, Healthcare and Family. Iurie Bolboceanu has been dismissed from the function of deputy chairman of the same Committee at his request. Several independent MPs qualified these changes as “settling scores”. The head of the communist faction, Eugenia Ostapciuc declared that “Valentina Golban doesn’t deserve the function of deputy chair of that committee”. After the modifications effectuated, the Committee for Foreign Police will be formed of 13 members compared to 11 until present and the Committee for Social Protection, Healthcare and Family, of 11 members, against 13 till now.
