Moldova’s Parliament offers 25 internship places for the autumn session at standing commissions’ secretariats and at divisions of the legislature’s secretariat. The internship program is intended for last-year students, students studying for a master’s and a doctor’s degree, young specialists from the academic and scientific communities, representatives of civil society, IPN reports.
The interns will take part in the analysis, formulation and management of legislative acts, the legislative appraisal procedure, meetings of parliamentary commissions, other activities of the subdivisions of the legislature’s secretariat. The candidates must be younger than 30, know Romanian and a language of international circulation, have no criminal past and other restrictions imposed on activity in public institutions.
The young people must have an average grade of at least 8.5 in the last academic session or, in the case of those employed, working experience of up to two years at a nongovernmental organization. They should not be related, up the third degree, to one of the functionaries of the divisions of the legislature’s secretariat to which they apply.
The application file must be submitted in person or by mail by September 28 to the address: Chisinau, 105 Ștefan cel Mare Blvd, Secretariat of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, Human Resources Division, or through the email address resurseumane@parlament.md.
The internship program lasts for three months and is implemented two times a year during the ordinary sessions of Parliament (February – July and September – December). Parliament has carried out such programs since 2014.
