The first plenary sitting of the autumn session of Parliament will take place on October 15. In this meeting, Prime Minister Valeriu Strelet will present a report on the socioeconomic, financial-banking and energy situation in the country and on the local general elections of this summer, IPN reports.
“All the subjects are complex and the state institutions should prepare. A pause of one week was taken for them to be able to get ready so that we have productive discussions in Parliament and have answers to all the questions,” said Speaker Andrian Candu.
The Socialists demanded convening the sitting tomorrow, October 9, but their proposal wasn’t supported by a majority of members of the Standing Bureau.
