The legislative body on September 26 will hold the first sitting of the autumn session that started officially on September 2. The agenda includes six bills and the Communist MPs suggested questioning Prime Minister Iurie Leanca and the ministers responsible for the diminution of the state-owned holding in Banca de Economii, the concession of the Chisinau International Airport and the situation in agriculture after Russia imposed an embargo on the imports of Moldovan wine, IPN reports.
The lawmakers intend to adopt a number of bills required for coming closer to the European Union by the Vilnius Eastern Partnership Summit, where Moldova is to initial the Association Agreement with the EU.
In the first sitting, the lawmakers will examine the draft Code on Road Transport, the bill on dwellings, the bill on energy performance of buildings, and amendments to an article of the Labor Code.
The agenda also includes two agreements that Moldova is to ratify: the Council of Europe Convention on Access to Official Documents and the Agreement on Cooperation in the Preparation of Anti-Terror Subdivision Specialists of the Competent Bodies of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
