Though the MPs initially agreed to hold the special sitting of Parliament behind closed doors, after Prosecutor General Corneliu Gurin was questioned, it was decided that the meeting will be public, IPN reports.
The next to be questioned are the director of the National Anticorruption Center Viorel Chetraru, the head of the Security and Intelligence Service Mihai Balan, the National Bank governor Dorin Dragutanu and acting minister of finance Anatol Arapu.
At the start of the sitting, the Communist, Democratic and Liberal MPs voted for the siting to be held behind closed doors, while the Socialists and Lib-Dems demanded that the sitting should be open.
