Parliament appoints committee to check income and assets of CNI members
Parliament voted to appoint members to a special committee charged with checking the income and assets statements of the head and members of the National Integrity Commission (CNI), Info-Prim Neo reports.
The committee will have 7 members. PLDM delegated Anghel Agache and Iurie Apostolache. PL is represented by Vitalie Cojocaru and PDM by Iurie Bolboceanu. The PCRM group announced it would need a week to delegate its members to the committee.
During the meeting, Parliament also announced the vacancy civil society’s CNI membership mandate, taking note of Cristina Cojocaru’s resignation. The latter explained her resignation by questioning the legality of the way the commission was formed.
