The municipality is preparing the parks in Chisinau for the summer season. Sand is being brought to the beaches, changing cubicles are being repaired and showers will be turned on. “When temperatures are high, the residents of the city can rest near the lakes in Chisinau’s parks. Where necessary, the sand on the beaches was renewed. We carry out works to soften the sand,” the interim director of the Green Spaces Management Association Tudor Gîrbu stated in the ordinary meeting of officials of municipal services, IPN reports.

He noted that the furniture in parks, squares, street alignments is being renovated. During the night, works are carried out to fight insects after mowing.

Workers of the Association daily collect waste in recreation areas. Tudor Gîrbu said that some of the citizens gather the garbage after resting there, but others do not. The citizens are urged to show responsibility and not to leave garbage behind them.
