The parking lot set up in the backyard of the Chisinau children’s hospital “Valentin Ignatenco” will be taken away. The Prosecutor’s Office established that the parking lot was illegal, IPN reports.

According to the head of the City Hall’s Law Division Diana Gurschi, the district’s head, in concert with the police and the bailiff, must make sure that the parking lot is removed.

Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca proposed introducing a simplified system for paying parking fees, in the form of an SMS, which does not require many installations. “The parking lots are to be marked and delimited. I spoke with the heads of Chisinau’s districts about this. We will see if this works,” said the mayor, adding this way they can collect money for different kinds of works.
