Parking facility at Chisinau Airport to be built under public-private partnership
The Government in several weeks will announce a tender contest to select the private company to build a multi-storied parking facility at the Chisinau International Airport as a component of its development plan, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Under the Government's decision, the private partner is to create 700 parking places within 2 years from the signing of the agreement. For its part, the government will lease the facility to the private partner for a period of 20 years.
The facility will work as a private business and the Government will not be able to influence the charges. At the same time, the private partner will have to allocate 2% of the proceeds for the airport services offered to the passengers.
