Starting with this year, school fairs will be staged only in the five sectors of Chisinau, not yet in the center of the city as earlier. This year the school fairs will start work on August 15, Victor Prodan, of the Chisinau Division of Trade, Public Food and Services, has told IPN.

The Chisinau City Hall decided that the school fair in the park of the Metropolitan Cathedral will be no longer organized as the green area and the lawn are destroyed, while the companies selling there leave a lot of garbage behind.

According to Victor Prodan, the City Hall will provide free selling places at the market “km7”, at 17 Petricani St. There will be available an area of 250 square meters where about 20 companies will be able to sell products. Even if the fair is opened in two days, no companies filed applications yet.

The visitors of the fair can buy school supplies, clothes, footwear and other items.
