The parental house of the leader of the Liberal Party was sequestrated. Dorin Chirtoacă informed about this himself through a social networking site. He said the house was sequestrated on January 24, but he was familiarized with the relevant order only today, March 12.
The measure was taken in a move to recover the damage caused by the offense of which Chirtoacă is accused in the case of reconciliation transactions. “Prosecutors and the NAC, have you found the stolen billion in the apartment of my parents in Buiucani, in my apartment in Ciocana and in my parents’ house in Colonița?! Don’t you dare to look for the money in Bulgaria, Switzerland and Cyprus, at Tenev and Konstantinou?” asked the Liberal leader.
He said the house in Colonița village was erected by his grandparents in 1936. “According to your infected logic, this house and the other buildings should be confiscated because I solved the housing problem for prosecutors, judges and police officers event if this problem was created not by me, but by the state, Parliament, Government?! Good for you! How could I get the house illegally if it was built in 1936 and was inherited?” wrote Dorin Chirtoacă.
In the case of reconciliation transactions, the ex-mayor general of Chisinau is accused of abuse of power and causing of over 60 million lei damage to the municipality by not correctly implementing court decisions concerning the provision of dwellings to particular persons.
