A girl aged 11 from Drochia district died on January 19 after developing complications caused by the A (H1N1) pandemic influenza. This is the 13th pandemic flu death this year and the 38th since the outbreak of the disease, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the press service of the Ministry of Health. According to the quoted source, the girl was admitted into the Drochia District Hospital on January 13 and diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia and possible pandemic flu. One case of pandemic influenza was confirmed in Moldova by laboratory tests on January 19. During January 1-20, the virus had been detected in 69 of the 348 samples tested.
