Palace of Justice in Ungheni to be erected by this yearend

The works to erect the Palace of Justice in Ungheni were 40% carried out and are to be completed by the end of this year. While on a working visit to Ungheni district, Prime Minster Pavel Filip inspected the building site, IPN reports, quoting the Government’s press office.

“Here, in Ungheni, I hope we will soon have a new Palace of Justice where judges will work in better conditions. I wish the cases to be tried in this building as soon as possible and, especially, correctly. Correct justice will guarantee investments into the national economy and his will help develop the country,” stated Pavel Filip.

The construction of the new head office of the Ungheni Court of Law forms part of the plan of action for implementing the justice sector reform strategy for 2011-2016. The project is financed with a part of the €60 million assistance provided by the EU for reforming the justice sector. The budget of the project is 57.5 million lei.
