A man from Pakistan was sentenced to 25 years in jail in Moldova for domestic violence and actions of sexual character. During over ten years, the man raped his minor daughter and brutally beat his wife and children, IPN has learned from the Prosecutor General’s Office.

The culprit started a family in Moldova by marrying a Moldovan. He regularly beat his wife. She gave birth to four children and the offender ill-treated them too, beating them with a wooden slab that he kept in the apartment especially for the purpose. By physical and psychical constraints, he repeatedly raped his minor daughter. She raped her the first time when she was eight.

The sentence can be appealed to a higher court.
