A painting of a girl with headband painted by Cezara Kolesnik is auctioned by CCF/HHC Moldova. The charity auction is held online and the proceeds will be used to help Anastasia, who does not hear, IPN reports.
The auction is held on the Facebook page of CCF/HHC Moldova. This started on May 4 and will end on May 8, 7pm. The initial sum is €250. The pace of growth is €20. The proposed sum will be written in a comment to the auction post. The persons who want to remain anonymous can write the bid in private or through the email contact@ccfmoldova.org.
The oil painting is 30x30 cm and has a white American frame.
In a press release, CCF Moldova says that Anastasia’s grandmother Lidia is a pensioner and raises alone two grandchildren. Besides poverty and evident shortages, Anastasia also suffers from deafness. Regrettably, the grandmother’s small pension is hardly enough to cover the basic necessities, but the child needs rehabilitation hours. Each end of month is a real challenge. These are the days when they have no money for food and winter was anyway difficult for them even if it was mild. They survived winter with difficulty, in the cold house, with insufficient wood. Anastasia’s disability has always been a reason for discussion for the authorities, which offered the grandmother to take her to a children’s home. But none of the faced difficulties made the woman do this. She loves her grandchildren more than life as they all she has dearest.
The proceeds will be used to change the life of the two children and their grandmother. Work will be done on Anastasia’s rehabilitation.
Painter Cezara Kolesnik mounted multiple exhibitions in Paris, Brussels, Istanbul, Amsterdam, Lausanne, Dijon, Bucharest, and Chisinau. She works form part of private collections in Europe. The main technique of her works is oil on canvas, but she also likes to experiment with new techniques, such as wood, glass and paper. She has a workshop in Brussels where she staged painting courses for children. At her birthplace, Cornești, Cezara each summer organizes summer painting camps for Moldovan children.
