Painters Ion Sfecla and Mihai Prepelita were awarded at the 5th edition of the International Festival “Man Hallows the Place”. The event took place on August 12 in Parcova village, Edinet district. According to the Nord Press Agency, quoted by Info-Prim Neo, about 140 drawings of 15 painters from Parcova and other regions were exhibited at the festival. Painter Ion Sfecla received as award 5 book volumes of the series “Unknown Bessarabia”, by historian Iurie Colesnic. Mihai Prepelita received as award an encyclopaedia “Unification Generation” written by the same author. The International Festival “Man Hallows the Place”, whose artistic director is Silvia Fusu, was initiated in 2002.
