PACE President Anne Brasseur will be making an official visit to Moldova on July 16-18, IPN reports, quoting the Parliament’s press service.

According to the program of the visit, Anne Brasseur will have meetings with Speaker Igor Corman, Deputy Speakers Liliana Palihovici, Sergiu Sarbu and Oleg Bodrug, and with the heads of the parliamentary groups. She will also have discussions with members of the Parliament’s commission on appointments and immunities, members of the Parliament’s delegation to the PACE, Deputy Prime Minister Responsible for Reintegration Eugen Carpov, and with the chairman of the Communist Party Vladimir Voronin.

Anne Brasseur will give a speech in the July 17 sitting of Parliament. The same day, she will pay a visit to Moldova’s Transnistrian region.
