The European Union is not just about well-paid jobs, equal rights, good infrastructure, and institutions working in the interest of citizens, but also about countries with happier people. This is the future Oxana Lupu, founder of WolfX, an accounting company established in 2014, envisions for Moldova. In Europe, people smile more, says Oxana in a video interview conducted as part of an electoral education and information campaign regarding Moldova's European integration.

"The first thing that impressed me (referring to the EU), you enter and immediately notice their good roads, the car no longer squeaks. Similarly, the societal organization, the rules, and the smiling people made me feel the difference compared to what we have," says the founder of the company.

 

She believes in the future of our country and hopes that through the Union, in Moldova, "public officials will truly act in the service of the population, and young companies and startups will be encouraged, without the fear of responsible authorities."

"I want to live in a country with fairness, well-defined legislation, and access to funding. A Moldova where there is freedom," concluded Oxana Lupu.

The interview with Oxana Lupu is the fifth in a series of testimonies from Moldovan entrepreneurs, aimed at involving the business community in supporting the referendum for European integration, which will take place on October 20, 2024.
