Oxana Diacenco won a bronze medal at the Cadet European Judo Cup that was held in Russia, IPN reports.

In the +70 kg weight class, Diacenco scored three victories. Before reaching the semifinals, she beat Daria Lapina of Russia and Alina Pastalouskaya of Belarus. In the semifinal, she lost to Russia’s Lyubov Orlova, but in the fight for the third place defeated another representative of the hosts, Elis Startseva, after only 47 seconds.

In the men’s competition, the best results were achieved by Alim Osmanov (50 kg), Maxim Matveiciuc (60 kg) and Alin Bagrin (+90 kg). All the three ranked ninths.
