Ownership documents for flood victims' houses to be ready by February 20
The flood victims from Hancesti district are to obtain the ownership documents for the houses built by the Government by February 20. In a meeting centering on flood cleanup, director general of the Agency for Land Relations and Cadaster Vasile Grama said the documents for the flood victims from Nemteni and Obileni villages will be issued on time, but problems will be encountered in the villages Cotul Morii and Sarateni, where a part of the plots on which the houses were erected are in private ownership.
The documents can be validated only after the purpose of the given plots is changed from agricultural land into land for construction and the old owners accept other plots to the same value instead of them, Info-Prim Neo. reports
“The Agency had a field meeting. We agreed to slightly simplify the given procedures so that the statements on renouncing the ownership rights could be signed not only by the head of the local council, but also by the secretary of the mayor's office, so as to hasten this process. There are yet cases when plots with an equivalent value can not be identified,” said Vasile Grama.
The head of Hancesti district Anatolie Chetraru said the families that receive houses from the state cannot be obliged to insure them, but discussions are being held with them so that the people know the advantages of insurance. He also said that the insurance companies should also get involved in the discussions.
