About 33,000 apartments in Chisinau have overdue heating bills, amounting to 217 million lei. The utility sued 2500 bad payers. The announcement was made by Termocom director Mihail Cernei during the City Hall meeting on Monday, December 25, Info-Prim Neo reports. Mihail Cernei said that of the 6000 summons to court for overdue bills, 2500 were already under examination by the court, while the rest will be submitted these days. He added that there another 8000 cases were being prepared to be filed to court. Thus, 14,000 bad payers will be summoned to court in short term. The others will be monitored according to the chart for the payment of rescheduled debts. If they don’t pay them in time, they will be sued as well. According to the information provided by Termocom, about 12,000 apartments have debts between 1000 and 3000 lei, 6000 apartments have debts between 3000 and 5000 lei, 3000 have debts of 5000-7000 lei, and over 9000 apartments have debts higher than 7000 lei.
